Guidelines for the Re-admissions Process
Link to Re-Admission Guidelines & Application
The Re-admission Process is required for students who wish to return to complete the degree program to which they were previously admitted, and whose matriculation has been closed due to an absence of two consecutive terms (exclusive of summer) or due to the expiration of the time to degree.
Students need to work with their advisor or department chair to prepare the materials required to complete a Re-admission Application. To initiate the process, students should complete the Re-admission Application form and send the form to the appropriate graduate program advisor or department chair for further processing. Once all materials have been completed (new Plan of Study, course revalidation if applicable, and college section on the application) and the required signatures have been obtained, the materials should be forwarded to the College of Graduate Studies for review.
Upon approval by the College of Graduate Studies, the matriculation will be reopened for the requested time period. Please note that we are unable to process Re-admission Applications that are missing any of the required materials. If you have questions regarding the Re-admission Process, please contact Tammy Oelkrug in the College of Graduate Studies at 419.530.5254.
